Cables and Connectors
Affixed cables include:
- One 55cm 24-pin ATX cable
- One 55cm 4+4-pin EPS12V power cable
- Two 55cm 6+2-pin PCI-Express cables
Modular cables include:
- Two 50cm 6+2-pin PCI-Express cables
- Two S-ATA cables with connectors at 45cm, 55cm and 65cm
- One S-ATA and Molex cable with connectors at 45cm, 55cm, 65cm and 75cm
- One Molex cable with connectors at 45cm, 55cm and 65cm and a floppy power connector at 75cm
The braid is the typical snake-material used by Enermax, with a yellow thread down the black tubing. Unfortunately, the braid stops half way down the EPS12V cable and two of the PCI-Express wires which sort of defeats the point by exposing the ugly wires underneath.
With four 6+2-pin PCI-Express connectors there's enough to go around for even the most demanding multi-GPU setup, and their red differentiation makes it easily identifiable compared to the black 4+4-pin EPS12V connector.

There's certainly enough Molex and plenty of S-ATA plugs to go around too. The connectors are placed at gaps of a modest 10cm. While the Molex plugs get plastic clips for ease of release, the S-ATA plugs don't feature any 90 degree connectors at all to make things flush. Again the braid stops early at the first plug though, which seems a bit half-hearted.

All the cables use an AWG rating of 18 - a standard for this type of PSU (and for Enermax), although a few do go for 16 AWG, which is a bit thicker, leading to slightly less resistance, less heat and a fraction more efficiency when the rails are under heavy use.
